SPANISH FOR EDUCATORS

Monday through Thursday 9:00-noon

Includes all materials, 4 class days at 3 hours per day = 11 hours of instruction (15 minute break per day)

Savoir Faire Language Institute is a private language school located in south Redondo Beach . We have been teaching foreign languages to adults and children for over 13 years.

This summer we are offering a very specialized immersion week called SPANISH FOR EDUCATORS . This class is offered at the beginner level to local teachers who want to improve the Spanish which they speak in the classroom.

You won't need to sit through lectures on grammar & verb conjugations in order to pick up basic conversational Spanish. In this class you will develop some ability to comprehend and make yourself understood in normal idiomatic Spanish.

This class will help you learn to converse in Spanish when dealing with most school issues; classroom instruction, discipline, extracurricular activities, educational administration, special needs & more...

As a teacher you are working hard to insure the success of your students. You prepare hard, you deliver great lessons, you monitor your students’ progress very carefully, and you are just doing your best every day. Yet, sometimes communication with your students and their families is just what you need to make things work. And Spanish is really what you would need to accomplish this simple task. Maybe you remember some of your High-school Spanish, but conjugating “tener” is just not enough, or maybe you took French, and let face it, regardless of what people say, French and Spanish are two very different languages! And of course, there are the rest of us who did not take any language in school, because it was just not needed for our studies.

We talked to a few of you and found out what your immediate needs are in your classroom. We designed a special course just for you. One week, 4 days, 11 hours of instruction and practical material to take home and keep using during the year. We discounted the price, just for teachers and we scheduled it twice this summer (so you can still go on very well deserved vacations).
